Get to Windows Explorer No Matter What
Alright, my library has extremely tight security settings. No explorer, no start menu, nothing. It took me a while, but I finally figured out how to bring all of this back. I could bring everything back at my school, which has a lot less of restrictions, but not at the library. So here is how to do it.
1.) Open up Internet Explorer
2.) Click on the Question Mark Button (It should bring down a drop box with more options)
3.) Click on "Contents and Index"
4.) Then at the top of the Windows Internet Explorer, there should be an Options button.
5.) Then click Internet Options
6.) Then under browsing history, click on settings
7.) Finally, click on view files.
There you go. I don't know how, but somehow Windows Internet Explorer bypasses the group policy for the machine and accesses the Internet Options.
